TheShrimpFactoryUK’s Website, located at www.theshrimpfactory.co.uk.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not

continue to use www.theshrimpfactory.co.uk if you do not agree to take all of the

terms and conditions stated on this page.

and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the

person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. “The

Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”,

or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance

and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to

the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the

Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance

with and subject to, prevailing law of gb. Any use of the above terminology or other

words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as

interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

DOA-Dead on arrival

​

We guarantee if any shrimps arrive at your address and are dead on arrival we will

refund you the difference. Please contact us via email, Facebook messenger or

instagram message within 4 hours of receiving the signed delivered package via royal

mail. Refunds will not include postage costs. Within the 4 hours of this guarantee you

must provide proof (evidence) of the shrimp that arrived dead in an unopened

breather bag in our water, photo or video proof will be required by the customer (clear

photo or video) or the claim cannot be processed. We do not cover for missed signed for

post via Royal Mail. All refunds are at the discretion of the company management.

Orders

​

1. By placing orders you agree to our terms and conditions.

​​

2. You are a resident in the UK/EU

​​

3. All items purchased on the website will be dispatched once payment has been

received. This may take 3-5 days for payment to clear.

​​

5. You will take delivery signed for by Royal Mail within the time frame set.

​​

6. Once the live stock have passed the set time frame we do not take responsibility for

deaths of shrimps.

​​

7. When the shrimps are introduced to their new tank we do not take responsibility for

deaths of shrimps.

​​

8. We do not accept returns of live unwanted shrimps.

​​

9. For the returns of Kallax Balls, Plants, Leaves and Food, please contact info@shrimpfactory.co.uk
only unopened products can be returned at the company discretion

10. We are not responsible for missed delivery's and DOA is Voided.

​​

11. No postage refunded once the items has been posted (On all shrimps and products)

​​

12. EU delivery's may be required to pay import tax via the delivery service, once the package has arrived in your county. 

​

13. Shrimps will be sold young ( juvenile) sizing between 0.8-1.5cm (unless stated otherwise) 

​

Delivery outside the UK

​

If you wish to purchase outside the UK then DOA guarantee (Dead on arrival) is only within the UK. This would be at buyers risk

outside the UK.

Pricing of shrimps

​

Our pricing is based on time and work to maintain/produce shrimps plus importing

costs on mid/high grade shrimps.

​

Grading of shrimps

​

Our grading is based on our experience and this is agreed when accepting our terms

and conditions, no refunds will be processed within this condition. Once you have

accepted our terms and conditions, you agree to our gradings.

Online store only

​

We are an online store only. We do not offer pick up/viewing from our facilities.
